Live assists are provisional and will be reviewed within twenty four hours of the match.

Your substitute does not score points. However, if any of your outfield players does not play in the Matchday, one of them will automatically be replaced by your substitute, if your substitute played in the Matchday.

Automatic substitutions are made at the end of the Matchday, when all matches have been played.

Captains

You must nominate a member of your team to be captain. This player will score double the number of points they would usually have been awarded that Matchday.

If your captain does not play then the bonus will be lost. Another player will not take over the captaincy in their place.

  • A league for fellow players from your country
  • A league for players starting the same Matchday as you
  • A league for supporters of your favourite team (optional)
  • Private leagues with your friends and colleagues (optional)

You can be in up to 10 private leagues. Points are awarded after each game as explained in the scoring section.

In the event of a tie between teams in a league, the team who has made the least transfers will be positioned higher.

In addition, you will be automatically entered into a public league with 7 other players. Public leagues allow you to directly compete against a small number of game players and don't have any prizes.

Players joining before Matchday 1 will be placed in a head to head league which follows the real tournament structure.

The twelve players will be broken into three groups of four and each Matchday play a match against another team in the group, with a match result based on game scores. The top two in each group and the two best third-place teams (decided by group points, then fantasy points and finally a random draw) will qualify for the quarter-finals, with knock-out matches progressing through to the final.

Players entering after Matchday 1 will be entered in a standard league with 7 other game players.
